There’s no drink or food combination proven to “melt” cholesterol overnight while sleeping. Some ingredients commonly used in these videos — like garlic, ginger, lemon, cinnamon, or honey — may have small supportive effects on cholesterol or inflammation, but the evidence is modest and inconsistent.

What actually works best for lowering LDL (“bad”) cholesterol:

  • Eating less saturated and trans fat
  • More soluble fiber (oats, beans, psyllium, fruits)
  • Regular exercise
  • Weight loss if needed
  • Not smoking
  • Medications like statins when prescribed

Garlic and ginger may slightly help some people over time, but they are not substitutes for proven treatment.

Also be careful:
